F-2 MISSIONS: CASE ONE Is Now on Steam — Wishlisting Opens for the Windows / Mac Version

October 8, 2026

UNVELL Inc. has opened the Steam store page for F-2 MISSIONS: CASE ONE, the Windows / Mac desktop version of its flight simulation F-2 MISSIONS. You can add it to your wishlist starting today. The release date is listed as "Coming soon" and will be announced once it is set.

F-2 MISSIONS: CASE ONE is a physics-based flight simulation in which you fly the JASDF's F-2 over the sea and skies of a true-to-scale Japan.

■ A physics-based flight model

Lift is computed from the aircraft's weight, speed and angle of attack, and turn performance follows from those numbers at every instant. The structural g-limit and the weight of drop tanks and fuel are modelled too. There are no stability assists: speed and energy management are up to you.

■ The real skies of Japan, at true scale

Terrain is built from national survey data and flown with no scale reduction. Time of day, cloud cover, rain, fog and wind change both the scenery and the difficulty of the same stage.

■ From training to real-world missions and live fire

A training course takes you from takeoffs and turns through low-level runs, formation flying, aerial refueling and carrier landings. Beyond it wait scrambles against unidentified aircraft and live-fire training against air, ground and sea targets.

■ Built for the desk

A fully modelled cockpit, support for keyboard, gamepad (Xbox layout) and flight stick, HDR output and an uncapped frame rate. Windows and macOS (Apple Silicon), in English and Japanese. More missions and VR support, as a free update, are planned after launch.
